ESTABLISHMENT OF MINDANAO REGIONAL COMMITEE AND DAVAO PROVINCIAL CHAPTER

PTI Officers Meet with New Mindanao Leadership and Conduct Promotion Test and Referee Basic Program DAVAO CITY, PHILIPPINES — Pilipinas Taekwondo Inc. (PTI) continues to strengthen its presence in Mindanao following an official visit by PTI officers to Davao. The visit provided an opportunity for PTI officers to meet with the newly appointed PTI Mindanao Chairman and the Davao Provincial Head Instructor as the organization continues to develop its leadership and programs in the region. As part of the visit, PTI conducted a regular Promotion Test for Taekwondo practitioners in Davao. The promotion test allowed students to demonstrate their skills, knowledge, discipline, and progress in their respective ranks. ONE-DAY REFEREE BASIC PROGRAM PTI also conducted a one-day Referee Basic Program attended by DepEd teachers, private school teachers, and Taekwondo black belts from Davao. The program introduced participants to the fundamentals of Taekwondo officiating, including basic competition rules, referee responsibilities, scoring principles, proper officiating procedures, and the duties of officials during competitions. The training forms part of PTI's continuing commitment to developing qualified officials and providing Taekwondo practitioners and educators with opportunities to expand their knowledge and skills beyond regular training. STRENGTHENING PTI IN MINDANAO The Davao visit marks another step in PTI's continuing efforts to strengthen its organization and programs in Mindanao. Through its regional and provincial leadership, promotion programs, instructor development, and referee education, PTI continues to create opportunities for athletes, instructors, teachers, and black belts to grow within the Taekwondo community. PTI looks forward to working closely with its new Mindanao leadership and the Taekwondo community in Davao in advancing the organization’s programs and contributing to the continued development of Taekwondo throughout Mindanao.
